Event Details

Learn about rain gardens with Jen Baker from the Hamilton Naturalists Club and what you can do in your yard! Discussion will include how creating rain gardens in your yard can help reduce water runoff into streams and creeks in your neighbourhood and in turn how it helps prevent the transport of pollutants and reduces erosion in stream valleys. How rain gardens can help to increase local biodiversity, including pollinators, will also be examined.
